The Bachelor's Alex Nation shares her labour

Alex, dressed in her underwear, appeared calm as she was stroked by her loving partner in the delivery room.

The room was decorated with soothing candles, while calming music played in the background.

Alex revealed she had used a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) machine during her birth, which is an alternative to painkilling medication.

The small box is worn on the body, and attached by wires stuck to the skin. Small electrical pluses are transmitted to the body, which can help to ease the pain.

Preparing: On Wednesday, the 30-year-old shared a string of videos from the delivery room, where she was seen breathing and moving her body in the hours leading up to his birth

'Boy oh boy did that magical little boost button get a work out when a surge hit!' she captioned the footage. 

The doting mum shared a sweet photograph in which she cradled the new arrival alongside boyfriend Carson and revealed the birth was 'intense'.

Alex Nation has said 'My birth preference is that I want to give a natural birth a red hot crack,' Alex wrote on Instagram, before showing a photo of the Tens machine.
